[Savage Worlds / General] Sci-fi PDF suggestions...

Hey guys. I was wondering if I could get some advice here... I recently celebrated my birthday (this Friday, in fact) and I got around $200 worth of spending money. I had already decided beforehand that I was going to get some PDFs (and possibly some other game aids) so I could start my sci-fi game. I did cobble something of a list together beforehand, and I've done as much research as I can, but I'm still not completely sure on some of these. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the general quality of what I'm planning on getting. By the by, all of these (except the last one) are available at DriveThruRPG/RPGnow.
The List:
Star System (#1) - Intro & Generator
Star System (#2) - Wrecks of the Great Abyss
Star System (#3) - Persephone Station
Star System (#4) - The Magnificent Starfarers
Into the Future - Derelict Starships
Destinations [Bundle]
(contains all of Tabletop Adventures' Destinations series; interestingly enough, all of them are sci-fi based)
http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=61573
Space Opera Support Compilation #1 [Bundle] (contains #1 - #5 of the Space Opera Support line)
http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=25988&it=1
43 Space Opera Adventure Seeds - Space Opera Support #6
I'll be getting these no matter what:
Savage Worlds Sci-Fi Bestiary Toolkit PDF
Savage Worlds Sci-Fi Gear Toolkit PDF
Savage Worlds Sci-Fi World Builder Toolkit PDF
Points in Space Volume 1: Starport Locations

You may want to hold off on the Sci-Fi Toolkits. The Sci-Fi Companion should be coming out shortly (

). If their work with the Fantasy and Supers Companions holds true, it will contain pretty much everything in the Toolkits, all updated and somewhat integrated.

A game is only as balanced as the GM.
When you sit down at the table, there's only one question you have to ask yourself:
"What kind of game do I want to have tonight?"

Don't limit yourself to Savage Worlds stuff. SW is easy to convert, so you may want to figure out what you want to do with your campaign, then look around for games or supplements that will have the background and fluff you want. You can get out-of-print stuff fairly cheaply on sites like Amazon and eBay, in addition to DTRPG.

Suggestion
is the Jedi Mind Trick. ?These are not the murderous hobos (i.e. adventurers) you're looking for.??

Yep. The interesting thing about most of what I posted is that most of it is, in fact, fluff. Well, fluff or locations, anyway. I guess I've just got to "take the plunge" on this one.
As far as using other system's material goes, I've thought of using some cyberpunk adventures (Shadowrun?) if the game ends up taking a more "corporate" tone; after all, the world of Star Frontiers is practically co-governed by corporations, not all of them benevolent... Of course, I'd probably need to tweak parts of the adventures (I'm not sure how well jacking into networks would fit; cybernetics was never covered in Star Frontiers, which I guess gives me a tabula rasa of sorts...)
However, I do have one other thing that I'd like to ask. I've been looking at the Atomik series of books (mainly Atomik Aliens and Atomik Psionics, though I may check out Atomik CyberTek) as a possible purchase. They've had some (very) good reviews, so I thought I'd check em' out. Now, I'm not planning to use those books as a rule revamp (I didn't see anything in the free add-on rules that mentioned SW, anyhow), but I do like fluff, and these seem to have more fluff than a sheep farm.
However, there aren't any previews, which, for large documents like the Atomik books, are almost a necessity. Has anyone here used these books? If so, what did you think of them?

If it's not too late to suggest titles for you, Icar
http://www.icar.co.uk/download.php?section=background
is a free SciFi setting that appears very developed. I've downloaded many of the titles but haven't had the time to look at them in detail yet, so I can't give much of a review.

It's not too late; just because I bought everything I wanted doesn't mean I won't accept more stuff, especially if it's free.
I'll check Icar out when I have time.

Yep, I love the Free RPG Blog, and go there often. Those free games are awfully handy when you find yourself in a rut.
